In a changing world of life and work with new opportunities and risks, it is important to find holistic solutions to the complex challenges of our time. Our teaching therefore focusses on the future-oriented topics of health, communication and human-technology interaction. In addition to our seven degree programmes, the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies also offers foreign languages and the Studium Generale.
Research at the faculty
The Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies conducts applied research and development in close co-operation with industry partners. Numerous excellently equipped laboratories are available for this purpose, which are used not only in research and development, but also in practice-orientated training.
Medical Campus Lower Bavaria
Landshut University of Applied Sciences is a scientific partner of the MedizinCampus Niederbayern (MCN). The connection to the MCN will further strengthen the links between medical teaching, applied research and clinical care. In addition to the Physician Assistant and Midwifery degree programmes (primary and further qualification), medical students can also be involved in interprofessional training at Landshut University of Applied Sciences in future.
