Module study

The modular study programme is a great option if you are not yet sure whether a degree programme is right for you or if you cannot (yet) decide between several degree programmes. Another advantage for prospective students is that the modules from the modular study programme can be credited.

Overview

The Faculty “Health | Communication | Human-Technology Interaction” offers the following modules from the Bachelor's degree programme in Engineering Education for modular study:

  • IP200 Fundamentals of Vocational Education
  • IF300 Fundamentals of Computer Science
  • MA300 Analysis I
  • PH300 Scientific Computing I

The IP degree programme is an interdisciplinary course that comprises the subject blocks of the vocational specialisation (either electrical engineering and information technology or metal technology), vocational education/social sciences and a further teaching subject (either computer science, mathematics or physics). For this reason, reference is also made here to the corresponding engineering modules (electrical engineering, industrial engineering and mechanical engineering), which are offered as part of the modular programme.
