Preparing for the start of your studies

To ensure a relaxed and smooth start to your studies, there are a few things you can sort out in advance. You should collect the details for your user account, which you will need for all the key online services. You can access your user account details via the portal through which you applied for your place at university and received your offer of admission. Once you have enrolled, a button for this will appear there. You will need your user account, for example, to enrol in optional (or compulsory) modules such as language courses.

Many important applications run via the SSO portal (Service Portal). You’ll find instructions on how to register on the SSO portal in the list of links on the right. We strongly recommend that you take the time to test the registration process on the SSO portal before your studies begin! You can access the portal, for example, via the quick links on the university website’s homepage.

Enrolment in elective (or compulsory) modules is carried out via PRIMUSS . You can find a guide to this process here: https://www.haw-landshut.de/static/Tools/Arbeitshilfe_PRIMUSS_Modulwahl.pdf

Online timetables

You can access the timetables via the SSO portal shortly before the start of the semester. Select the ‘Timetable (PRIMUSS)’ tile there.
