The Business School is represented by Prof. Dr Maren Martens at the Doctoral Centre for Digital Technologies and their Applications (DigiTech), the Institute for Data and Process Science (IDP) and the Doctoral College for Digital Innovations for a Changing Society (DIWAG), as well as through Prof. Dr Gronover in a DBA programme in cooperation with the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship (SCE) at Munich University of Applied Sciences. Doctoral Programme Digital Innovations for a Changing Society (DIWAG)

DIWAG focuses on research issues in the context of digital innovations and their use in the course of demographic change and the associated changes in society. In terms of sustainability, DIWAG's interdisciplinary approach addresses this complex economic, social and ecological structural change. The Business School is involved in the DIWAG doctoral centre through Prof. Dr. Maren Martens.

Doctoral Center Digital Technologies and their Application (DigiTech)

Landshut University of Applied Sciences is represented in the doctoral center "Digital Technologies and their Applications" (DigiTech) together with Augsburg University of Applied Sciences and Deggendorf Institute of Technology. The Bavarian universities of applied sciences and technical universities use doctoral centers to support young scientists in their doctoral studies and thus exercise the right to award doctorates. Prof. Dr. Sebastian Meißner (Faculty of Electrical and Industrial Engineering) and deputy Prof. Dr. Maren Martens (Faculty of Business Administration) are members of the doctoral committee. Their outstanding research achievements made the establishment of the center possible. At the DigiTech doctoral center, doctoral students conduct research into the megatrends of digitalization - from processes and products to services - as well as their use in society, the economy and the environment. The aim is for young scientists to use digital technologies to contribute to solving acute social, economic and ecological problems in an interdisciplinary manner.

Institute for Data and Process Science

The Institute for Data and Process Science (IDP) at Landshut University of Applied Sciences conducts research in the fields of data mining, artificial intelligence including machine learning, the Internet of Things, algorithms, project management and related topics. The Faculty of Business Administration - Business School is represented at the IDP by Prof Dr Maren Martens.
