Media equipment hire

We are the media equipment lending service for students of the Faculty of Social Work.

On this page you will find detailed information about the lending conditions.

During the semester break, the media equipment lending desk is open on the following days from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.:

Items can only be borrowed or returned in room D0 44 during the above-mentioned opening hours.
To borrow items, you must present your student ID together with a photo ID.
Borrowing and returning items is only possible in person. Substitute borrowing is not possible, even on presentation of the student ID.
The loan period is four weeks. The return date stated on the loan form must be strictly adhered to.
It is possible to extend the loan period by a further four weeks. Extension requests can be made in person or by e-mail(mediengeraeteverleih(at)haw-landshut.de).

The equipment may not be passed on to third parties.
The borrower is liable for any damage, loss or non-return of the borrowed equipment up to the full amount of the replacement price.
Should any damage occur during the loan period, a written report with a statement must be submitted when the equipment is returned. To avoid major damage, please report any equipment malfunction immediately so that the damage can be repaired by a specialist.
The instructions for use or supplementary sheets enclosed with the equipment must be handled with care, must not be marked with written notes or symbols and must be returned in full.
The borrower undertakes with his or her signature to observe the operating instructions and the user regulations.
The Faculty is not liable for any damage caused by the use of the equipment and its accessories.
