Programme content

The Bachelor's degree programme in Architecture offers an active course of study with plenty of scope for creativity. The faculty is internationally networked, but at the same time is committed to the building culture of our region. Theory and practice are taught on an equal footing and project-based in modules. As a result, our students learn about complex interdisciplinary relationships and ways of thinking that are important for the profession of architect:

  • Drafting, design and presentation
  • Construction, material, supporting structure
  • realisation
  • Urban planning and building history
  • Law and standards

The independent development of questions and solution strategies in the designs as well as their integration into complex processes in the sense of a holistic university degree programme thus enables students to learn and develop something new time and again.
