Content & Course Structure
On the Bachelor’s degree programme in Sustainable Industrial Operations and Business (SIOB), you will combine technical and business management knowledge with sustainability and an international perspective. Over six theory semesters and one practical semester, you will learn to design sustainable processes, lead projects and develop innovative solutions.
Upon graduation, a wide range of career paths will be open to you – from operations and production through to supply chain management, sustainability and corporate development.
Study & Work
Practical experience is important to us – and we’re sure it’s important to you, too!
That’s why we structure our lecture schedule so that there are no regular lectures on Mondays and Fridays. This gives you plenty of time to gain valuable practical experience – for example through a part-time job, a working student position, or an internship.
Our region is home to numerous exciting industrial companies offering a wide range of opportunities to put your knowledge into practice. Because with us, theory and practice go hand in hand – giving you valuable experience during your studies and the perfect foundation for a successful start to your career.
Prospects after graduation
With the varied content of this degree programme, many doors will be open to you after graduation - both nationally and internationally.
Whether it's sustainability, mobility, production planning, logistics, technical purchasing, sales, quality management, marketing, controlling, innovation or project management - you'll have the skills that companies are looking for.
And if you want to go one step further: the right Master's programme is already waiting for you!
