General information

Please send your documents to Uni-Asisst for preliminary examination before applying and to Landshut University of Applied Sciences after receiving the preliminary examination documentation.

  • Processing fee: € 75,00
  • Result: Preliminary examination documentation (VDP)

You can use the DAAD admissions database to check whether you fulfil the requirements for your desired degree programme.

The APS procedure applies to applicants from China, Vietnam and India.

Before you can apply to a German university, you must have your certificates checked for authenticity by the APS and take part in an interview or the TestAS. Once your documents have been successfully checked and you have passed the test, you will receive a certificate with which you can apply for a place at a German university.

The visa application can be submitted directly to the APS. Further information on the procedure and the process can be found on the homepage of the Academic Evaluation Centre in Beijing (APS):

for Bachelor's degree programmes

  • Mid-April - end of July (can sometimes be extended)

for Master's degree programmes

  • Mid-April - mid-August (depending on the Master's programme)

Landshut University of Applied Sciences recognises the following certificates and language test results for Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes:

German
Bachelor's degree programmes: B2 (TestDaF: 14-15 points)
Master's degree programmes: C1 (TestDaF: 16 points)

If you fulfil the requirements but would like to gain even more confidence in the German language, take advantage of our language offer: a German course during your studies. Landshut University of Applied Sciences offers courses at all levels.

How can a buddy support you as an "international"?

The Buddy Programme offers you the perfect opportunity to make a smooth start to your life in Landshut and at the university. A full-time student will guide you through your first steps in your new life and give you important information when you arrive.

Your buddy can support you with situations/tasks such as

  • Registering at the Citizens' Office (registration)
  • Getting to know the campus and all its offers
  • Getting to know Landshut and how to move around here
  • Shopping for basic items on arrival (SIM card, food, household items, etc.)
  • Open a bank account

From the first semester onwards, the buddy programme will help you to adjust well to the study situation. Your buddy will accompany you throughout your studies.

Compulsory health insurance for students under 30 years of age

No knowledge of German is required at the start of the programme. However, proof of German level A2 must be provided by the end of the 2nd semester.
