Terms of use for LRZ Sync & Share at Landshut University of Applied Sciences

The LRZ Sync & Share service is available to all employees at Landshut University of Applied Sciences for file exchange, including with external parties.

Please note the following when using the Sync & Share service:

- The Sync & Share service stores all data unencrypted on the servers at the LRZ

- The Sync & Share service is only to be used for official purposes (files from research, teaching, studies and administration)

- Special category personal data such as health data, entrusted data such as student counselling data, student performance data and personnel file data should only be stored in encrypted form in Sync & Share

- Shared files / folders should only be shared for as long as necessary

- Access rights should be deliberately assigned so that only the people who need this data have access

- Access rights for files / folders should only exist for as long as necessary

- Files that are not required should be deleted

- It is not permitted to pass on your personal access data and thus make the service available to third parties without authorisation.
