Programme content
The MBA in Systems and Project Management at Landshut University of Applied Sciences offers a comprehensive education in the areas of systems management and project management. The programme content includes the fundamentals of systems management, project management, leadership skills, agile methods, change management and intercultural skills. Special emphasis is placed on interdisciplinary project work and the application of acquired knowledge in real-life situations in order to prepare graduates for demanding management positions.

Study programme
It is possible to start the MBA Systems and Project Management programme in both the summer and winter semesters. Accordingly, you will find two different study programmes. Basically, you will complete modules from the four areas of Systems Management, Project Management, Leadership and Economics. In addition to classroom teaching, many courses rely on e-learning for preparation and follow-up work. The typical course sequence consists of

The programme concludes with a Master's thesis, which is completed in the 4th or 5th semester, depending on the individual study plan. The academic degree Master of Business Administration (MBA for short) is awarded on completion of the programme.
Modules
In the first part of the degree programme, students immerse themselves in the fundamentals of systems management in order to develop a sound understanding of complex systems. The module on the fundamentals of project management lays a solid foundation for the planning and implementation of projects. The consideration of leadership and social skills in a separate module shows that not only technical knowledge but also interpersonal skills are considered key factors for successful projects. The module on selected management topics for managers emphasises the relevance of management skills at higher levels. The other modules deal with specific aspects such as agile management, change management, portfolio and programme management as well as intercultural skills. This diversity reflects the demands that modern managers have to master. Overall, this degree programme offers a broad range of topics and skills that should prepare graduates well for demanding management positions in various industries.

Master thesis
You will complete your studies with a Master's thesis, in which you will work intensively on a scientific issue related to your degree programme over several months. You will be closely supervised by professors at Landshut University of Applied Sciences. It is possible and recommended that you establish a link to your professional practice in your Master's thesis.
