University certificate in project management
Efficient project management is no coincidence. Projects themselves can be up to 30 per cent faster and cheaper with the right mix of methods adapted to the company than if they are planned conventionally - and with greater delivery reliability. A clear competitive advantage for any company. And this is exactly where we come in: We have set ourselves the task of designing a practice-oriented further training programme that enables our seminar participants to plan and implement projects efficiently and reliably, adapted to the requirements of the company.
Contents
The university certificate in project management contains important fundamentals of various project management process models.
The continuing education programme consists of the following two modules:
- Fundamentals of project management
Participants acquire skills in the definition, planning and management of projects. Modern techniques of lateral leadership are also covered. - Agile management
The agile process models Scrum and Kanban are introduced. Participants learn the basics of agile working and acquire skills in the application of Scrum and Kanban. Other agility-promoting process models such as Design Thinking and DevOps are also covered.
The courses include lessons for online-supported, interactive self-study (approx. 2 days per module) and attendance phases. The practical face-to-face events are organised as seminars and workshops and usually take place from Friday afternoon to Saturday evening.
Admission requirements are (according to SPO):
- a university degree from a German university or an equivalent domestic or foreign degree or
- a university entrance qualification and proof of at least one year of relevant, qualified professional practice related to project management.
We will of course be happy to advise you individually on admission and show you how to provide evidence.
Costs
The participation fee for a university certificate course totals €1,850 plus the student union fee.
