- Activities in social, educational or youth welfare planning
- Officer for fundamental issues of strategic social planning as well as for science and development in administrations and organisations in the social sector
- Consultant for the professional development of specific fields of social action or for specialist advice for social organisations and institutions
- Inclusion officer, diversity officer, equal opportunities officer (e.g. women, people with disabilities, senior citizens)
Is a doctorate possible with a Master's degree?
Yes, after completing a Master's degree in the Social Work: Shaping Diversity programme, you have the opportunity to do a doctorate.
Doctoral support is structurally anchored in our programme. Prof Dr Katrin Liel and Prof Dr Matthias Laub are doctoral advisors at the Faculty of Social Work and are happy to help you achieve this goal.
We offer individual counselling and support for those interested in doing a doctorate and doctoral candidates, e.g. during consultation hours, information events or during the annual DGSA Doctoral Colloquium SüdOst.
