Master of Arts

The Master's programme combines strategic thinking with a clear customer focus and the development of skills in leadership and management, sales management, and negotiation. A solid education in digital topics is also a central component. Students learn, among other things, to develop innovative business models, successfully position products and services, lead teams, and implement transformation processes in business. Practical projects, close contacts with industry, and experienced teachers create the framework for taking on leadership responsibility in the digital age.

    Programme content

    The central aim of the programme is to combine current knowledge from the fields of leadership, innovation management, and market-oriented corporate management and to enable students to critically reflect on this knowledge and apply it in a practice-oriented manner. The focus is on developing innovative business models, building modern leadership skills, and designing sustainable market strategies. Practical projects and close exchange with companies are part of the application-oriented learning process. The programme provides a comprehensive understanding of the dynamic relationships between leadership, innovation, and the market. Graduates are prepared to take on positions of responsibility in a changing economic environment.

    Course of studies

    The three-semester, application-oriented, and consecutive Master's programme in Leadership, Innovation and Marketing consists of two application-oriented, theoretical semesters and a final semester with a Master's thesis and possible practical relevance. In the third semester in particular, there is also the option of studying abroad if desired.
     

    The “family-like” atmosphere of this programme offers students optimal conditions for interacting with fellow students and professors and building a strong social network that will remain valuable even after graduation.

    • Innovation & Marketing: "Vertriebsmanagement und Verhandlungsführung“, „Digitales Marketing und eCommerce“, „Customer Insights“, „Kundenmanagement“ and „Produktmanagement & Innovation“
    • Digitalisation: “Digitale Geschäftsprozesse“ and Data Science und Maschine Learning“
    • Master's Thesis with a seminar on research methodology and a colloquium as well as a scientific defense
       

    The modules offered are a balanced mix of specialized subjects in customer-oriented areas, generalist subjects, and methodological skills. Sophisticated scientific methodological and social skills, which are taught in reflective project work, for example, are also important.
