For the Bachelor's degree programmes in Civil Engineering, Architecture and Physician Assistance, relevant practical experience(pre-study internship) is required.
The pre-study work placement provides an insight into the chosen professional field and the link between theoretical knowledge and real-life applications.
General information on the pre-study internship
- Professionally qualified applicants do not require any additional previous experience if their previous professional activity is relevant to the degree programme. Further details are regulated by the respective guidelines of the degree programme.
- The practical training at the FOS/BOS can be recognised as a pre-study internship in accordance with the respective guidelines.
- The confirmation of the pre-study work placement should be submitted by 30 September. An extension of the submission deadline is possible upon request.
- You choose the company in which you complete the pre-study work placement yourself.
- The pre-study work placement is documented by a confirmation from the work placement company.
- A completed pre-study work placement does not have an "expiry date", i.e. it does not have to be completed immediately before the start of the degree programme.
