Examinations

The legal basis for all aspects of the examinations can be found in the general examination regulations. Specific regulations for the respective degree programme are listed in the relevant study and examination regulations.

In the event of impairments for health reasons, an application for compensation for disadvantages can be made.

Participation in all examinations requires registration for the examination in due form and time.

Registration for the examinations takes place in the Primuss Portal.

When cancelling an examination or if you are unable to take an examination at short notice due to illness, which you would be obliged to take by a deadline, please always obtain a qualified medical certificate.

Notification of non-attendance or cancellation of an examination

If it is known at an early stage that an examination with a deadline cannot be written, an application for an extension of the deadline must be submitted.

An overview of the deadlines can be found on the grade sheet in the Primuss portal.

Application for an extension of a deadline

If there is no deadline, there is no need to report non-attendance at an examination. Unexcused absences then have no consequences.

All information on what to do if you are unable to take an examination due to illness can be found here .

If you still have questions about examinations, the relevant Student Service Centre will be happy to help and advise you.
