Language Certificate

It is generally advisable to take a language course from the language programme of the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies in preparation for your stay abroad.

Preparation of the language certificate with a final grade of at least 2.0 or if several successfully completed courses at the required level can be proven by Ms Margit Dumser using the following document:

  • DAAD form or another form required for the specific purposes of the stay abroad
  • Grade overview of the language course passed at Landshut University of Applied Sciences

You can take a placement test at IDS. This takes 40 minutes.

Certification only possible up to CEFR B2!

For a higher level, an external language assessment (CAE, TOEFL or similar) must be completed.
