Despite the snow conditions

Landshut University of Applied Sciences took part in the 29th Bavarian University Championships with 16 other universities

Last Friday it was time for the Landshut participants to set off for Lenggries for the Bavarian University Championships. The giant slalom in the disciplines snowboard and skiing as well as a curling tournament were on the agenda. But anyone who wanted to spend a day in Lenggries outside the competition also got their money's worth and was able to take part in a guided snowshoe hike.

At the award ceremony in the evening in the Alpenfestsaal, the Landshut University of Applied Sciences had special reason to celebrate. Snowboarder Brigitte Oberweger secured 3rd place in her competition class. The curling team and other starters from the Landshut University of Applied Sciences were placed in the midfield. Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences proved to be unbeatable, providing several winning teams. They also confidently won the team ranking ahead of the organisers of the 39th Bavarian University Championships, the Augsburg University of Applied Sciences and the Hof University of Applied Sciences.

The Landshut University of Applied Sciences would like to thank the Augsburg University of Applied Sciences for a superbly organised day, where the focus was always on fun, and is already excited for the

40th Bavarian University Championships, which will be held in Oberwiesenthal on 26 February 2021. The organiser is Hof University of Applied Sciences for the first time.
