Welcome week
Before the start of the semester, the International Office organises a welcome week for new students to get to know the environment and German culture and to make contacts.
It is therefore recommended that you arrive around one to two weeks before the start of the semester in order to be able to take part in all events.
The International Office plans excursions to interesting destinations such as Neuschwanstein Castle, the Bavarian capital Munich and much more.
Buddy programme
The Buddy Programme offers you the perfect opportunity for a smooth start in Landshut and at the university. A full-time student will accompany you during your first steps as well as during your studies and provide you with important information, e.g. when registering at the citizens' office, exploring the campus and city and opening a bank account.
