Once you have completed this Master's degree programme, you will be qualified to work in many departments, from technical development, logistics and purchasing to all production, manufacturing and planning departments, as well as in the field of consulting.
Any examples of suitable fields of activity?
- Work as a process manager or process engineer in sectors such as the automotive, chemical, pharmaceutical or food industry. You will be responsible for the analysis, design, optimisation and monitoring of processes that contribute to the production of products or services. You will use methods such as lean management, Six Sigma, value analysis or energy management.
- Become a supply chain manager or logistics manager in companies or organisations with complex value chains. Your area of responsibility would be the planning, control and optimisation of material, information and cash flows along the entire supply chain.
- Take on exciting tasks as an energy and environmental manager or as an energy and environmental engineer. You will be responsible for recording, analysing and optimising the energy consumption of your company or individual processes, as well as introducing renewable energies, reducing environmental impact and complying with legal requirements.
- In combination with an empathetic and creative personality, you are suitable as an innovation manager or change manager. In this role, you will initiate and support innovation processes and far-reaching changes in your company.
- As an advisor or consultant, you will specialise in the optimisation of processes and resources as a consulting service for companies. You will be in demand with clients from various industries and sectors who want to reduce throughput times and expenditure through process optimisation.
