Learning and sample factory
Covering an area of around 900 m², the TZ PULS learning and demonstration factory maps a complete internal value chain from incoming goods to dispatch. The value stream includes incoming goods, a storage and picking zone, three production areas, which are connected to an assembly cell via supermarkets, and outgoing goods.
The focus is on the processes of storage, internal material provision, the arrangement of structural units and the control of the production system. In addition to logistics hardware, we use software systems for control and communication as well as for the investigation and optimisation of processes and integrate human-machine interfaces in order to organise logistics processes more efficiently Thanks to its modern production logistics equipment and Industry 4.0 technologies - with IoT components such as driverless transport systems, robotics, intelligent sensors and radio technologies - the learning and demonstration factory, together with the 300 m² project area, is an ideal location for research, events and further training.
