Programme content
The internationally oriented degree programme offers a sound education in business administration and is more than just business administration in English. An extensive range of courses with international content and in foreign languages, as well as cooperation with foreign universities, characterise the application-oriented study programme. Students have the opportunity to obtain a double degree by spending three semesters abroad (2 theory semesters, 1 practical semester). Thanks to a wide range of contacts with partner universities all over the world, students can choose a wide variety of countries for their stay abroad. Due to the stay abroad and the international composition of the students during their time in Landshut, intercultural communication and understanding is a core element that runs through the programme.
Modules
The first two introductory semesters with methods and basic modules in business administration, information technology, business mathematics, statistics, business English and another foreign language are followed in the second year by a switch to English. Contents include finance and investment management, marketing and sales, personnel management, organisation, materials management, international management and law. The foreign language courses will be continued. Students can complete an internship abroad in a non-German-speaking country in the fifth or seventh semester. Students complete the last two theoretical semesters at a foreign partner university and can specialise individually by selecting courses. The degree programme concludes with the Bachelor's thesis.
