Canteen and Cafeteria
Our canteen and cafeteria are run by the Studierendenwerk Niederbayern/Oberpfalz. Varied menus and a good selection of side dishes await you. Our canteen has been BIO-certified since 2008. The new canteen was opened in 2023 and is one of the most beautiful canteens in Bavaria. The Chicco di caffé coffee bar also offers coffee and cold drinks as well as small sweet and savoury snacks.
Canteen
The cafeteria (Building M) at the university is run by the Studierendenwerk Niederbayern/Oberpfalz. During the semester, various main courses and several side dishes as well as soups and desserts are offered. Our canteen has been BIO-certified since 2008: Organic dishes are also offered.
There is a salad bar and a self-service counter. In the Landshut canteen, the Studierendenwerk offers free children's meals. Information on this can be obtained from the service office.
You can pay cashless with your student ID card. To top up your card, simply use one of the Studierendenwerk's money validators (2x in the canteen, 1x in the cafeteria).

Cafeteria
The Studierendenwerk offers a wide selection of drinks and hot and cold snacks at reasonable prices in the cafeteria. You can also pay there with your student ID.

Drinks and snacks are available outside opening hours from the following vending machines:
- Building D (hot and cold drinks and snack machines)
- Building G (hot and cold drinks vending machine)
- Building B (hot and cold drinks, ice cream and snack vending machines)
Chicco di caffé
The "chicco di caffè" coffee bar offers both coffee and cold drinks as well as small sweet and savoury snacks. Freshly prepared espresso, latte macchiato, cappuccino and other coffee specialities naturally take centre stage at student-friendly prices. The artisan-roasted coffee is certified with the seal of the German Roasters' Guild and fulfils high standards in terms of quality, fairness, sustainability, health and transparency.
"chicco di caffè" operates speciality coffee bars in large companies and universities in communal catering throughout Germany.

The "Chicco di Caffè" coffee bar will close for good on Friday, 26 July 2024.
