Canteen and Cafeteria


Our canteen and cafeteria are run by the Studierendenwerk Niederbayern/Oberpfalz. Varied menus and a good selection of side dishes await you. Our canteen has been BIO-certified since 2008. The new canteen was opened in 2023 and is one of the most beautiful canteens in Bavaria. The Chicco di caffé coffee bar also offers coffee and cold drinks as well as small sweet and savoury snacks.

Canteen

The canteen (Building M) at the university is run by the Studierendenwerk Niederbayern/Oberpfalz. During the semester, a variety of main courses and several side dishes are on offer, as well as soups and desserts. Our canteen has been certified organic since 2008: organic dishes are also available.

There is a salad bar and a self-service counter. At the Landshut canteen, the Studierendenwerk offers a free children’s meal. Further information is available from the service office.
You can pay cashlessly using your student ID card. To top it up, simply use one of the Studierendenwerk’s top-up machines (2 in the canteen, 1 in the cafeteria).

The Studierendenwerk offers a wide selection of drinks as well as hot and cold snacks at affordable prices in the cafeteria. You can also pay there using your student ID card.

Exceptions

Drinks and snacks are available outside opening hours from the following vending machines:

  • Building D (hot and cold drinks and snack vending machine)
  • Building N (hot and cold drinks and snack vending machine)
  • Building G (hot drinks vending machine)
  • Building B (hot and cold drinks, ice cream and snack machine)

Campus Coffee Bar

Campus Coffeebar Landshut – is the vegan/vegetarian café and a meeting place on campus! Here you’ll find vegan and vegetarian meals, snacks and drinks, as well as the best slow coffee on campus – specially brewed using a portafilter machine. The Students’ Union’s newest cafeteria in Landshut is thus becoming an oasis of calm and socialising amidst the hectic pace of campus life.
