The student ID card is also valid as a semester ticket for local public transport in the city and municipality of Landshut - together with a valid photo ID (e.g. identity card or passport). The ticket can be used on all bus lines in the Landshut transport network, except the airport line.

Landshut main station also offers good connections to the neighbouring cities (Munich, Passau, Regensburg etc.).
