Landshut University of Applied Sciences voted the most popular Bavarian university in 2020 by the students on StudyCheck.de. Application phase officially started

The start of the new digital semester has definitely been a success for Landshut University of Applied Sciences. After being pleased with second place in last year's StudyCheck.de ranking of the most popular Bavarian universities, Landshut University of Applied Sciences took the top spot in 2020, just ahead of OTH Regensburg.

The StudyCheck.de ratings platform presents the StudyCheck Award to the most popular universities and universities of applied sciences in Germany. The portal analyses more than 40,300 experience reports published in 2019, thus offering prospective students a tool to help them make a decision. For the 2020 university ranking, students were able to rate over 600 universities and more than 18,200 courses of study. The final ranking is determined by a score that is calculated from the number of stars awarded and
the referral rate.

Dream result and incentive for the future

Prof. Dr. Petra Tippmann-Krayer, Vice President for Teaching and Quality, spoke of an absolute "dream result" for Landshut University of Applied Sciences. "The result shows that our lecturers and the courses we offer score points with students and that Landshut University of Applied Sciences is an excellent choice for a degree". Tippmann-Krayer said that they will continue to work hard on this in the future.

Landshut University of Applied Sciences is not only one of the most popular universities in Germany on StudyCheck.de, the university regularly also achieves top rankings on meinprof.de and in the CHE ranking.

It has been possible to apply for all courses of study with open admissions at Landshut University of Applied Sciences since Wednesday, 22 April. All the important information regarding this is available at

www.studieren-in-landshut.de. The application phase for the courses of study with restricted admission is expected to start at the beginning of July.
