How can I charge and mange my print account credit?

Charging:
You can transfer your personal print credit account via the terminal at the ground floor of the library building (in the B-building). There you can transfer credit from your student card (Mensa credit) to your print credit account.


Managing:
You can manage your print account credit via the app paper cut. Each user can check their print account credit and transfer it to other users via the web interface of the application. You can access the web interface here:

You can however sell and transfer the credit to another student.

How much do which prints cost?

Printout on black and white printer

  • A4: 0,03 € per page
  • A3: 0,06 € per page

 

Printout on Color Printer

  • A4: 0,17 € per page
  • A3: 0,34 € per page

 

Printout on Plotter

 Color:

  • A2/B2: 1,99 €
  • A1/B1: 3,99 €
  • A0/B0: 7,99 €
  • Any other format 7,99 €

 
Black and White

  • A2/B2: 1,99 €
  • A1/B1: 1,99 €
  • A0/B0: 1,99 €

How does the printing cost accounting work?

You can charge your print account credit at the validation stations of the Student IDs.

You can manage your print account via Papercut. Please note: You can only access Papercut via the Hochschul network, to access from home or BayernWLAN you need a VPN connection to the university network.

When will credit be debited from my account?

Once you send a print job to a printer or plotter and it is correctly routed to the printer.
 

How can I get reimbursed for printing costs?

If there are problems with printing and the money has been debited, please contact the HelpDesk by mail at ticket@haw-landshut.de for a refund.
Please let us know your username, the reason for the refund, the print job (number of pages), the amount to be refunded, and the printer name.
To view your print job and the amount of money debited, log into Papercut and then select "Recent Print Jobs" from the menu on the left.

What do I do if I have technical problems, such as a paper jam?

In case of problems, please report immediately to IT (N101, N108) or write an e-mail to ticket@haw-landshut.de. In no case try to fix the errors yourself, otherwise the printing costs cannot be refunded to you.
