Lightweight Design and Simulation (MEng)

This course is offered only in German.

Course Outline

Constantly reduced product cycles and thus ever shorter development cycles, in conjunction with ever greater system complexity, are increasingly demanding the use of simulation. Simultaneously, lightweight design is becoming ever more important, especially with regard to energy efficiency.

The Master's degree programme offers you the chance to further consolidate your education in the fields of lightweight construction, product and process development, and computer aided engineering, and to acquire the internationally recognised academic degree of Master of Engineering.

You will acquire knowledge, skills and competences that will qualify you for activity as a specialist or manager for analysis, construction and development, or alternatively for a doctoral degree. With the qualifications gained, you will be able to understand and shape development and manufacturing processes in a complex environment as well as develop innovative products and technologies with modern CAE methods and tools.
