Course Outline

Flyer Sign Language Interpreting

On the Bachelor's programme in Sign Language Interpreting students are taught the practical skills necessary to become independent and professional sign language interpreters. The foundations are supplied by scientific knowledge and methods. Over and above this, students are prepared through the different modules for their future role as sign language interpreters. In the process the modules build systematically upon one another and link the knowledge acquired. The aim is to ensure that prospective interpreters are in a position to be able to reflect upon their own professional activity on a theoretical level and in terms of the ethical principles of sign language interpreting.
