Graduates of the Master's degree in Engineering and Management benefit from consolidated, extended knowledge of Engineering and Management, which is also tied in with the latest insights in this subject area. Furthermore, they will also be familiar with several current technology or industry-related challenges in Engineering and Management.

On this basis they are able to devise innovative solutions for technical and economic problems both independently and in teams. They are also in a position to be able to acquire new knowledge of the problem context, to develop new methods, processes and procedures and to integrate knowledge from different adjacent fields. They are able to expand their specialist knowledge of Engineering and Management and its application in professional practice, and to critically reflect upon the status of this specialist knowledge. Graduates have the necessary skills to be able to manage and shape complex Engineering and Management activities or projects, including with new strategic approaches. Furthermore, they meet the requirements for taking on management responsibility in organisations, specifically in technically-oriented companies and to a greater extent in the international environment.

The Master's degree programme significantly enhances their employability, especially in the fields of consulting, technology and innovation management, and corporate management. This opens up additional employment market prospects and career possibilities.

On the Master's degree programme in Engineering and Management, modules are offered in both German and English.

The range of mandatory electives enables students to individually tailor their studies to their future career.
