Systems Engineering (MEng)
This course is offered only in German.
Course Outline
The global objective of the consecutive Master's degree in Systems Engineering is to qualify students to plan and implement complex interdisciplinary projects. To this end, they learn project management, system design and corporate management skills. Although in organisational terms this course is based in the Faculty of Computer Science, it is not a Computer Science course, but an interdisciplinary programme. The programme combines the teaching of management and engineering skills. Through the combination of knowledge of different technical, business administration and scientific disciplines, the students learn to plan complex systems and control their development and integration. For this purpose, modern strategies, concepts, methods and procedures for the efficient and targeted planning and control of projects under real conditions and for the structured and interdisciplinary description of large systems and processes are conveyed in concentrated and practical form.
