Market-Oriented Management (MA)

This course is offered only in German.

Course Outline

The three-semester, application oriented and consecutive Master's degree programme in "Market-Oriented Management" consists of two theoretical semesters and a final semester with Master's thesis and possible practical experience.

Primarily, the programme aims to impart advanced management knowledge with a particular focus on the customer-oriented functions of marketing, sales and service. In the process, the skills acquired through a first academic degree are consolidated and extended across disciplines through, among other things, practical projects. Particular importance is placed on an integrated way of looking at the levels of strategy, process and information technology. Furthermore, skills in project management, methodological competencies, social skills and the ability to apply challenging scientific methods will also be acquired.

Through the team and leadership skills conveyed during the programme, the Master's course qualifies students to take on intermediate and higher-level specialist and management roles in sales and marketing as well as in other customer-oriented departments.

The "informal" framework of this programme provides students with the ideal conditions for exchanging knowledge and experiences with fellow students and professors and for building strong social networks.
