Due to the targeted energy transition in Germany, the region of Bavaria and its different industrial sectors undergoes significant changes. Landshut University of Applied Sciences scientifically accompanies these changes in the region with different projects and solutions.

The International Summer School  “Renewable Energy” at University of Applied Sciences Landshut offers you lectures as well as practical sessions in the fields of heating technology of the future, decentralized energy systems and more. Besides high class lectures we offer you trips to high-performance companies and interesting cultural activities.

What exactly can you experience:

  • Dive into one of the most interesting Bavarian regions, next to Munich and only 30 minutes to Munich Airport
  • Experience a mixture of lectures and practical sessions in one of the worldwide most popular fields of research “Renewable energy”
  • Enjoy most exciting study trips to famous companies in the region (e.g. BMW, Energy Centre Munich Airport, Wolff Heating Systems)
  • Learn in a small group effectively from the experts and network with excellent professors
  • Join cultural activities including city tour to Munich and cultural visit to Neuschwanstein


Workload: approximately 90 hours, equivalent 3 ECTS / 1,5 Credits

Expenses: 800 EUR (application fee, lectures, cultural program, Hotel, breakfast and lunch included) – individual travel expenses excluded
