More than 300 universities and universities of applied sciences (HAWs) as well as dual universities and universities of cooperative education were assessed. The CHE university ranking is therefore the most comprehensive and detailed comparison of universities in the German-speaking world. In addition to facts about courses of study, examinations, teaching and research, the ranking also includes assessments by students about the conditions of study and support in various areas at their university. This includes, for example, job market preparation, academic and practical relevance, teaching facilities, library facilities and IT infrastructure.
