Who can be nominated?
International Degree Seeking Students (foreign students) in Bachelor's or Master's degree programmes from the 2nd year of study who are aiming for a degree at Landshut University of Applied Sciences and who are mainly living in Germany for this purpose.
Students should have particularly good academic performance and should also be involved in social and intercultural areas.
Students may also be supported by other organisations - but should be able to prove that they are able to successfully complete their studies mainly by their own efforts.
Who cannot be nominated?
Residents (i.e. foreigners with a German university entrance qualification, i.e. also graduates of German schools abroad) and exchange or programme students
What documents must be submitted with the nomination?
1. Current references from a university lecturer showing the assessment of the academic performance
2. Minimum 1 reference that provides information about the social and intercultural commitment of the student
3. Current curriculum vitae
4. Current Transcript of Records
When do the nominations have to be submitted?
Nominations must be submitted in writing with an application folder by a lecturer preparing the reference to the International Office during opening hours by 18 August of the respective year.
Please note that only applications submitted directly by a professor or other teaching staff of the Hochschule Landshut will be accepted.
When does the selection of the prize winner take place?
The selection is made by a committee consisting of the Vice President for International Affairs and two representatives of the International Office on the basis of fixed criteria (grade point average, social and intercultural commitment and personal interview).
The selection is made in two stages:
Pre-selection on the basis of the submitted documents after nomination.

Who can be nominated?
To promote the completion of studies, we award STIBET scholarships each semester for foreign students who will complete their studies in Landshut.
Students can be supported for two purposes:
1. to support the completion of their studies
2. to support particularly committed students and doctoral students
The criteria for the selection of candidates are:
- Social commitment
- Engagement in the international context
- Social situation
- Financial situation
What documents must be submitted?
The application is made by submitting a form to the International Office of the university (Room N0 01 - N0 03) by January 15 for the summer semester and by June 15 for the winter semester.
BAföG
The financial support programme BAföG is for German or international students who are fully-integrated and have their long-term perspectives in Germany (e.g. European citizens, students with long term residential visas, refugees with a residence permit ).
