How can a buddy support you as an "international"?
The Buddy-Programme gives you the perfect opportunity to have a smooth start into your life in Landshut and the Hochschule. A Full time Student will guide you through your first steps of this new experience and will share with you important information upon arrival.
Your buddy will be able to guide you through situations/tasks such as:
- Registration at the citizen's office (Anmeldung)
- Getting to know the Campus and all it has to offer
- Getting to know Landshut and how to move around
- Buying basic articles upon arrival (Sim Card, groceries, household items, a.o.)
- Opening a Bank account
From the first semester onwards, the Buddy Program is designed to help you to adjust well to the study situation. Your Buddy will accompany you throughout your studies.
