Internship Abroad

All undergraduate courses at Landshut University of Applied Sciences include an internship semester. In some courses of study the internship semester must be spent abroad.

More and more students choose an internship abroad to strengthen their intercultural skills, as well as their independence and ability to work under pressure, in order to be fit for the labour market or to develop on a personal level.

Our checklist "7 Steps to an internship abroad" can help you with your planning. A preparation time of at least one year is not too little to answer questions such as

  • How do I find the right job?
  • How do I apply correctly?
  • Which financial support is available to me?
  • How is my compulsory internship recognised?

Therefore, please use our information on funding opportunities and internship search on the following pages as early as possible.

You can also find the checklist, FAQs and all the latest news about the internship abroad on our new padlet! Here you also have the opportunity to get in touch with other students and exchange information!

One information event per semester is held on internships abroad. We will inform you about the exact dates at the start of the semester by e-mail and on posters.

Useful information on searching, financing and applying for internships all over the world can be found at Study & Work International.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us directly or make an appointment.
