Engineering and Management - Energy and Logistics (BEng)
This course is offered only in German.
The part-time work-based Bachelor's degree in Engineering and Management - Energy and Logistics is aimed at either full-time or part-time employees in the fields of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or a commercial area who wish to obtain a university degree alongside their work, thus becoming sought-after specialists and managers in the labour market. In contrast to other courses offered by Landshut University of Applied Sciences, the classes on this course are not taught in Landshut, but instead in the towns of Hauzenberg and Straubing. This programme is thus aimed explicitly at prospective students from the east of Lower Bavaria.
The course offers a comprehensive basic education that enables graduates to work as industrial engineers in a wide range of roles (e.g. purchasing, manufacturing, sales, marketing, financial controlling, consulting, management).
The course consists of a combination of online phases and seminars in Hauzenberg or Straubing plus to a lesser extent in Landshut, Dingolfing and Ruhstorf an der Rott, which generally take place at weekends or on an evening. We place a great deal of importance on our students being able to combine their studies on this course with their professional and family commitments. With the part-time work-based Bachelor's degree in Engineering and Management - Energy and Logistics we are able to offer a promising alternative to full-time study, to which there is presently no comparable alternative in the region.
Upon successful completion of the course, graduates will be awarded the academic degree of Bachelor of Engineering (or BEng for short).
Practicals and laboratory courses in our well-equipped laboratories constitute an important part of this engineering degree.
